2 Chronicles 7:14 - If My people, which are called by My name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
This prayer list is for Christians and churches in America. It also includes prayer needs for our nation. It is hoped that each of you who prays what is on this list will be filled with the understanding of the need for it. Please add whatever prayers God has placed on your heart. (Feel free to make copies).
Prayer for all Christians:
- The Lord will open their spiritual eyes to see and recognize all their sins.
- They will humble themselves before God and fully repent.
- They will be filled with a revival fire that will not cease.
- They will forgive others and themselves as many times as needed for complete forgiveness.
- They would have an abundant increase of faith and trust in God with daily prayer and thanksgiving.
- Husbands would take their place as the Christ head of the family.
- Wives would submit to their husbands.
- Parents would raise their children with knowledge according to God's word.
- Children would receive God's word with love, joy and respect.
- They would have a hunger and thirst for God's word with understanding and knowledge.
- They would have spiritual strength and discernment with wisdom in all things.
- They would appropriately prioritize God's order of importance and have good time management.
- They would not be self-indulgent.
- They would not be in idolatry. Examples: money, tv, sports, collectibles, movies, music, houses, cars, name brands, stars-( tv, movie, sports, music ).
- They would not lust after flesh and worldly things.
- They would be content with what they have.
- They would have control and wisdom of the tongue regarding anger, gossip, etc.
- They would have a love in their hearts for the unsaved with a boldness of tongue to speak God's truth in wisdom to those they know and meet.
- They would not fear man or what he thinks.
- They would not fear loss, but depend and trust God for all things.
- They would depend on God to give them strength, encouragement and wisdom when times are tough, especially when persecuted.
- Their vessels would always overflow with the fruit of the spirit.
- That God would anoint every man, woman and child with the blessings of the beatitudes.
- They would have continued spiritual growth and maturity.
- They would be obedient to God.
- That God would fulfill His purpose in the lives of His children.
For all churches and our government:
- That God would anoint our church neighborhoods.
- That every church would take God to the streets.
- That God's word would flow from every pastor's tongue and pierce the hearts of all who hear.
- Revival in every office at every level of government. (This includes city, county, state, federal and all elected officials).
- Revival in our justice system. (This includes all courts, law enforcement and prisons).
- Revival in our military.
- That our country will return to the foundations of which it was founded.
- That every ungodly law in the last 60 years will be repealed.
